Bulgaria: Castle in love with the wind

Modern architecture, especially “in the hands of” very enthusiastic people, is amazing. We have already written about the majestic temples built by our contemporaries in Thailand, which are not just not inferior to the best examples of ancient architecture, but often surpass them by many orders, for example, the “White Temple” or the symbol of unity Temple of Truth in Pattaya.

Our today’s story is about a modern architectural marvel born in Bulgaria, which bears the proud name “Castle in love with the wind”.

Typically, such structures are built by famous architects, who want to thus leave the memory of themselves for centuries.

In Bulgarian Ravadinovo (district of Sozopol, near Bourgas) everything is different. Formation of the castle began a former police officer Georgi Tumpalov with his sons. Not a single professional architect participated in the project, the former law enforcement officer himself thinks over and studies every element, every detail of the castle. The important fact is that the whole construction goes at its own expense.

Today, as well as, for example, in the case of the Temple of Truth in Pattaya, entrance fees are becoming increasingly important in financing for tourists who want to look at the construction process and thereby support the construction of the “Castle in Love with the Wind”.

It should be noted that the territory of the castle is not limited to the building itself. In the “front” land also includes a pond the size of the castle itself, as well as a garden with a still small zoo.

Already, small private tourism companies have created an excursion product “Castle in love with the wind” and offer it on the Bulgarian tourist market, including for Russian tourists. Many of our compatriots have already taken the opportunity to admire this beauty and capture their memories in photos.
